In September 2010 Martyn Middleton and Vladislavs Klimovs established Peacock Foods Limited, a wholesale bakery based on the Bluebridge Industrial Estate in Halstead. The aim was to produce top quality, traditional "hand-made" bread, rolls and cakes for the Essex and Suffolk regions.
The business has gone from strength to strength and has a growing list of customers which include East of England Co-ops, ALDI, Chelmsford Star Co-ops as well as many independent shops and catering clients. In addition, Peacock Foods also supply pubs, local schools and colleges, sports clubs, burger vans, hog roasts and cafes.
Products offered are bread, rolls and cakes which are delivered 6 days a week, fresh products daily.
Peacock Foods focuses on improving their range of products and providing the very best service to their clients. The dedicated staff make the products freshly everyday using locally sourced ingredients whenever they can be found.
